It took me FOREVER to decide on a name for my new blog. When I finally chose this one, I thought I was being so clever! It would jokingly represent all of my expectations about being a mother. My ideas, my thoughts on how to raise kids, my plan for life, and ultimately how it absolutely doesn't not matter at all what you felt and thought, because its simply not ever going to work out that way.
I read the title to my 6 year old daughter, who found it so funny, that she repeated the title back to me for about 15 minutes straight, giggling. Then she stopped and said "Wait, where IS the shirt that you got for being a mom? Is it the shirt your wearing? I don't get it." And promptly scampered out the room, leaving me, fingers poised above my laptop, considering the last 20 minutes of my life.
I hate the name of my new blog.
Onward to new subject matter.
I decided once again to try my hand at blogging, simply because I feel like sharing things. Recipes I've tried, ways to entertain the kids, tricks I've found for home improvement, cleaning, organizing, etc. Not that I'm so full of my self that I think I've got it all figured out, but little things that I have found that make my life just a tad bit easier, and things that might entertain or enlighten someone else.
Alright! There's my very first blog. Enjoy it, or don't. Come back and read more, or don't. I have no way of knowing, do I? :)
